6 Passes
1st: Insert Main Audio/ Narrative, such as sound bites, voice overs and narration.
2nd: Insert B-Roll and Natural Sound - This is a way you can patch/fill any holes in the audio track.
3rd Pass: Insert Titles and Graphics.
4th Pass: Insert SFX (Sound Effects) or any music soundtracks, it's good to leave this part to a littler later on in the list because SFX and music soundtracks aren't necessarily needed.
5th Pass: Add Transitions and Effects, once all the clips are inserted, re-arranging clips after transitions and effects is something that will be costly on time. Trim and re-arrange clips before adding transitions and effects.
6th Pass: Make any final adjustments, this is where a lot of time is spent making sure it is perfect.
