What is meant by White Balancing a camera?
- White balance in digital photography means adjusting colors so that the image looks more natural. We go through the process of adjusting colors to primarily get rid of color casts, in order to match the picture with what we saw such as color, depth. This makes the picture more natural and will make it look more accurate with what the photographer saw through his or her eye.
What is considered the "golden hour"?
- In photography, the golden hour is a period shortly after sunrise or before sunset during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. This is the opposite of magic hour in cinematography, which is the period just before sunrise or just after sunset when light is diffuse and even.
