Animation 5.1
1. Stop-frame animation (stop motion animation)
This form of animation is also referred
to as traditional animation. It involves creating a series of
drawings that are played back quickly to give the illusion of a
moving image.

2. Cell animation (celluloid animation)
Cell animation was so called because it is
made up of images drawn or painted onto sheets of clear celluloid, which can be layered on top of one another and
moved independently, making the drawings more flexible so
they can be reused in different scenes.

3. Rotoscope Animation
This is the process of drawing over
individual film or video frames to create a lifelike animation. This method is originally done by tracing over
film frames manually but has been made easier with computer
software that can automate a certain amount of the process.
However, it’s a painstaking and time-consuming process.
